Announcing Our New Technical Project Manager
The Kaseware team keeps growing! We are happy to introduce our new Technical Project Manager, Luke Burchard.
Meet Luke Burchard
Sooner born and sooner bred, Luke comes to Kaseware from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended college at the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) and a minor in Non-Profit Organizational Studies. While working towards his MIS degree, Luke’s senior capstone focused on bringing a small-business in Norman, OK up to speed on their technical infrastructure, implementing and training multiple solutions to increase revenue and manage business processes in a more efficient manner. He also gained his SAP Business Associate certification for SAP’s ERP system, solidifying his love for system implementation and configuration. Outside of his studies, Luke found several ways to be active on campus. He was a member of the President’s Leadership Class, worked on OU’s High School Leadership Conference for four years, interned with the University’s development office, and captained the school’s mascot team.
Leading Solutions at Epic
After graduating in 2018 with his MIS degree, Luke moved to Madison, WI to work as a Technical Solutions Engineer for Epic Systems Corp, one of the largest medical record companies in the nation. At Epic, Luke oversaw implementations and provided long-term support for Epic’s data analytics software, working with hospitals across the country like Mayo Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital to ensure they provided high-level patient care at a low cost to the patient. Shortly after the pandemic started, Luke shifted to a consultant role at Epic and moved to Denver, CO. In this new role, Luke was embedded on development teams at hospitals for specific projects. During his time as a consultant, Luke still used his project management and training skills as he lead enterprise-wide roll outs of Epic’s reporting software, but he also gained experience as a SQL developer and system administrator.
Coming Back Home
As much as Luke enjoyed his remote role, as he established his home in Denver, he realized he’d like to work for somewhere in Denver as well. Thus, he started looking for opportunities and found a perfect fit at Kaseware as a Technical Project Manager. Here, he is able to leverage his project management and system configuration experience to help Kaseware clients drive outcomes using our application. Outside of his role at Kaseware you can probably find Luke outside. He loves to snowboard, hike, camp, bike, and has even been known to participate in a triathlon or two.
Please join us in welcoming Luke to the team!
