Kaseware’s Response to Coronavirus

By Dorian Deligeorges

To the Kaseware Community,

COVID-19 has emerged as an unprecedented challenge. On behalf of Kaseware, I want to extend a personal note to share how we are working to protect our employees, customers and partners. Health and safety remain our top priority, and we are committed to being responsive to the needs of our customers as this dynamic situation evolves. We are actively monitoring new developments, communicating regularly with our users, and adapting our operations to serve a more remote workforce while providing the exceptional level of support you’ve come to expect from Kaseware.

The Kaseware platform is designed from the ground up to ensure continued service through times of disruption. All of our systems and tools are cloud-based, allowing employees to work from home or any other safe location with an Internet connection. Kaseware also has a detailed crisis management plan in place to internally reduce potential healthcare risks. As needed, we will continue to update you on the steps we are taking to support a safe and healthy community.

Here are some steps Kaseware has already taken to address the risk of COVID-19:

  1. All employees have the option to work from home. A secure VPN connection to internal networks is required for access to sensitive resources. Remote employees can stay connected with fellow team members and customer contacts via Google Chat and Meet.

  2. Our laptop computers are company-owned and protected through mobile device management tools and strict security standards.

  3. Kaseware executives hold established regular meetings to evaluate our efforts and to maintain our focus on virus prevention and the well-being of our team. We are working to ensure the concerns of team members related to COVID-19 are addressed and that their questions are answered.

  4. Our security team regularly warns employees to watch for coronavirus scams and related phishing emails.

We ask for your patience as the impacts of COVID-19 unfold, and we will continue to communicate with you in a timely and transparent way. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns. I also want to highlight and applaud the work that many of our public safety clients are doing to serve the needs of their communities. Although we are operating in an unparalleled time, we remain steadfast in our commitment to be fully available to our clients, people, and communities as we work together through these challenges.
