It is with deep sadness that we finally share the passing of one of our valued team members, Brian Budde, who passed away on January 30, 2025. Though Brian was with Kaseware for only a few months, his impact was immediate and profound, leaving a lasting mark on our team and the community we serve.
Brian came to us after an exceptional career in public safety, where he dedicated years of service to the Michigan State Police (MSP). His work with MSP spanned critical areas such as narcotics investigations, criminal intelligence, and the maintenance of evidence records. Brian’s contributions touched countless lives across the law enforcement community. His reputation for integrity, diligence, and compassion was well known, and his legacy at MSP remains significant to this day.
At Kaseware, Brian quickly became more than just a colleague. His passion for public safety, combined with his genuine enthusiasm and infectious energy, elevated our team and our mission. He brought light to serious work, often balancing the gravity of our shared responsibilities with humor and kindness that left those around him better for it.
Brian’s approach to service – driven by a rare blend of professionalism, humanity, and heart – is something the entire Kaseware team holds dear. His memory will continue to guide us as we support the law enforcement and public safety community that Brian was so committed to throughout his life.
