Kaseware is honored to have an incredible team of advisors. Our advisors are leaders in their field, hailing from military, corporate and non-profit sectors, with both substantial domestic and global experience. Today we want to highlight one of our longest-serving advisors, James “Jamie” Higgins.
Higgins has over 29 years of service in the realm of global investigations, security, crisis management, risk management, and international affairs, including being an Assistant Special Agent in Charge for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) within the US Department of Justice. He is currently the Director of Global Security at Emigrant Bank.

More About Jamie Higgins
James Higgins currently serves as the Director of Global Security for Emigrant Bank, the operational bank and subsidiary of the New York Private Bank & Trust Corporation.
Collective Experience
He has over 29 years of collective Federal Law Enforcement and Corporate Security experience. Specifically, his background includes leading global investigations and security, crisis management, risk management, as well as international affairs and intelligence. He is an industry leader with an expertise conducting complex investigations and operations in compliance with strict legislative and administrative oversight.
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)
He previously served as a Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). While at ATF, Higgins held various positions in the US, as well as with in the International Affairs program. He concluded his career as Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the New York Field Division. He holds many different specialty certifications and licenses, including Explosives Specialist and Advanced Explosives Disposal Techniques.
Advisory Roles
In addition to his advisory role at Kaseware, Higgins is also on the Advisory Board of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation, designed to give back and support law enforcement members in their times of need.
Education
Higgins received his Bachelors of Science from The State University of New York Maritime College, and also holds additional training and education from the United States Army War College, the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
